Yahoo! has been doing real estate for quite some time now… In fact, they initially embraced it as part of their portal way back in 1998.  As many real estate specific sites began to take the lead in the online market and now that Google is making a larger entry into the business with Google Base especially, what does the future hold for Yahoo! Real Estate?

In a time where many of us have practically all but forgotten about Yahoo!, I think their resurgence as a preeminent online presence might just sneak back up and surprise us all.  It’s clear by this interview that they do have big plans and are working diligently to make it happen.  I particularly like the way Yahoo! strategizes to integrate their real estate segment into their HotJobs property and their other relevant properties where possible.
