WordPress Mortgage Calculator – It’s Yours For Free!

As you can see in the right hand sidebar, we’ve recently added a very easy to use mortgage calculator to our Future of Real Estate and Loans Blog.  Give it a try, it’s really quite simple.

Add Our Free WordPress Mortgage Calculator to Your Blog

Like to use our mortgage calculator at your site or blog?  No problem – we’d be happy to share, plus it’s free!  It’s set up to work perfectly with WordPress as a widget.  You can download our free WordPress Mortgage Calculator right here.  Installation instructions are also included.

A Few Tips On Using The Calculator

  • For Sales Price, just punch in the expected sales price of the property in U.S. Dollars – Just the actual numbers only.  For example, you might enter 150000 if the expected selling price is $150,000.00.
  • Enter Down Payment percentage with numbers only.  You could enter the traditional 20% down payment simply as 20.  Remember, with most mortgage loans, anything under 20% down usually means paying monthly mortgage insurance also.
  • The Interest Rate field can be filled in with the current rate you expect to get or for that matter with any interest percentage you’d like to experiment with.  6.75% is a good place to start these days.
  • Input the term of the loan in whole years.  A typical mortgage is usually a 30 year period, but many choose 15 year fixed rates also.

Just press the Calculate button and see the simple and clear results – no fluff, just the actual figures.  The Loan amount is the total amount of money actually borrowed.  The Monthly figure is the expected monthly payment.  And finally, the Total amount is the actual complete total of money that will be repaid over the life of the loan.

Enjoy!
